I sat down to write my energy forecast on 2nd February and we are now on 8th Feb!! Time seems to be moving so quickly right now and as I began to write my forecast and felt the energies I wasn’t quite sure what I needed to say! So, I let it sit for a few days so I could understand more fully about what is happening for us all energetically.
The current energy up to the solar eclipse on the 15th Feb is a very clearing period! You may be finding that old emotions are coming back up, which you thought you had let go of or you may be finding that you are thinking about the past a lot more! This is actually a good thing!! Yes, we should try to live in the moment, however we can also learn from past experiences to help us in the present and the future.
2018 is all about self-empowerment and one of the ways we can feel self-empowered is to let go of the past and our emotional attachment to it, but also take along all the wisdom we have learnt along the way!
February’s energies help to amplify any negative emotions that we are carrying around from past experiences. Use this time to look back over some of the positive and challenging experiences you have had in your life. Take each experience and look at how it has changed you. Look at positive experiences as well as challenging ones. Observe these experiences and see what emotions come up. If you feel positive about the situation and can see how it helped you grow, then take the wisdom forward! If you think about an experience and it brings up any negative emotions, you know that you still have some work to do on letting go, which is absolutely fine as we all have some old energy to shift!
Try to review this experience as an observer as this may help you to see what the lesson is and perhaps even bring up some gratitude about what this experience has taught you! The biggest growth normally comes from our biggest challenges!!
Spirit showed me that grief is a key emotion that is coming up this month for a lot of people. The main reason is that we are getting down to the big layers after all that we have cleared over the years.

The grief associated with death is familiar to most people, but individuals grieve in connection with a variety of losses throughout their lives, such as unemployment, ill-health or the end of a relationship. I feel this description of grief is very accurate as the feelings of grief don’t have to be because someone we love has passed on. Grief can be buried very deeply within us under lots of other layers, so we may have not even noticed it is there! Grief can be caused and carried around because we feel like we have lost part of ourselves along our journey. It can even be there because we feel lost on this planet and we miss our homes! We don’t need to understand why grief is there if and when it comes up, we just need to acknowledge it and let it go.
Letting go of grief can be a very powerful release and help propel us forward. February’s energies are helping us to strip back the layers and we may find that grief comes up, so if it does here are some things that can help. These following can also help with any negative emotion that may come up for you this month.
Ask yourself, what is your relationship with yourself? As your relationship with the world and others changes, so does your relationship with yourself. You need to show compassion for yourself, to listen to your own needs, to be kind and not to attack or criticise yourself constantly.
Find a way to express your emotions. Find the means of expressing your feelings that works for you personally. There is no right way; the key is to connect to the feelings you have inside. One of the things I do to bring up old emotions is to play some music that resonates with my past emotions. This tends to help bring them up to the surface. Having a good cry is also very clearing, so don’t hold back if you feel the need to cry. Let it out.
Remember to nurture yourself. Take the time to give yourself some LOVE!
Know your limits. It is important to recognise the power to say no. When we are clearing old energy, we may not feel like we want to do a lot of activities or perhaps we don’t feel like we can help someone else as the emotions are too much. So, it is absolutely okay to give yourself time to grieve and take the space you need.
The above may sound a bit ‘doom & gloom’, but it is a very necessary and key stage for us all to be able to move into a more loving space for ourselves and others. By letting go of the past, we allow new space to become available to create our future. It also helps us to enjoy the present a lot more as we are not being triggered by old feelings from the past.
The eclipse on 15th Feb brings in a new energy that helps us break FREE!! It is a great time to see what is keeping us stuck! It will bring up any old emotions that have not been dealt with during the first part of the month and it will be a lot more intense! So, it is beneficial to try to do the inner work before this new energy hits!
Eclipses can help shift a lot of energy and create change within and externally, so be prepared! This energy will help us to break free of anything holding us back so we can be our true selves! This energy will also help us learn how to surrender to what is happening and learn how to enjoy every moment! Exciting change is ahead!!
Also, happening around this time is the Chinese New Year, which begins on 16th Feb 2018. As I wrote about in my 2018 overview, 2018 is the year of the Earth Dog and its keyword is ACTION! The Chinese New Year also combines the elements and 2018’s element is ‘Earth’, so this year is also about security and feeling grounded and safe.
The eclipse and the beginning of the Chinese New Year will jump-start the energies and you may feel everything is shifting gears and going along at warp speed! This may knock your sense of control and security, so make sure you take the time to ground yourself in nature and help yourself find peace in some way.

The next attunement event is on Valentine’s Day, 14th February, as I have chosen to run the Liquid Love attunement!
I chose this attunement for February as it is the month of LOVE and what better way to celebrate than with a love attunement for ourselves as self-love is so important! Healing is also given during each event and I am guided to what we all need as a collective. I also write-up about my experience after the event, which you can find on my website.
