April’s keywords are Rest, Re-balance & Rejuvenate!
March was a tough month energetically and one of the reasons I am writing this later than usual is that I took some time off over Easter to spend with my family to give myself a rest! The first week of April was still quite busy energy wise as we wound down from the energies of March.
Today, 7th April, for me, feels much more like how the rest of the month will be, as the pace is slowing a little and it feels as though we have more time to catch our breath!
A lot of change occurred in March, whether this was internally or externally, a lot of things shifted! You may have felt or been part of the changes, but some of you maybe thinking nothing has really changed! One of the reasons for this is that energetic changes take time to integrate, hence why this month is a great energy to allow that to happen.
I have heard from a lot of people last month and even the first week of April telling me about the external changes that have come into their lives. Some people are having to move house due to unforeseen circumstances, such as changes in rent, others are having to change jobs due to restructuring within the company and I have heard of people and animals suddenly getting sick when they were fine not long ago. Change doesn’t stop, so don’t be surprised if more change comes along in April, but I do feel that March was the big month for most of it!
We have had intense energy shifts since 2018 began, so it is not surprising things are shifting! What isn’t for our highest good is finding a way to leave. Sometimes we initiate the change, which is great, but many times fear blocks our hearts & minds in terms of what we should be doing, so the Universe gives us a nudge!
If you or someone you know is going through a big change, don’t rush to judge what may look like a disaster as many of these changes will be blessings in disguise.
Illness is also a big factor for change and when we go through a period of sickness it can show us that we either need to slow down, change our lifestyle so we can find balance or teach us about what emotions from the past are keeping us stuck. I have found when our pets get sick, this is normally because they are teaching and showing us something about ourselves! This of course is not always the case, but it is worth looking at our own bodies, behavior and lifestyle choices if our pets get sick as they do mirror us in a big way. By looking at ourselves, we can perhaps help them to heal. For example, if a pet is stressed, are you stressed? Is there something going on at home causing stress or worry?
All the changes occurring are teaching us about ourselves, our lifestyles and our emotions. We just have to stop for a moment and see what they are showing us.
As I wrote in March’s energy forecast, it is important to remember that how we react to any change is our choice. We can either see change as a challenge or a blessing! It is our resistance to change that creates the chaos.
April is a month to slow down and re-examine what we want from life. We need to understand why any change is happening to us or around us and sit with any emotions that come up, so we can let them go.
Take time in April to retreat and rest. It is so important to let the last few months energetic shifts integrate. Our physical bodies are tired as we have had a lot of energy downloads, solar flares and lots of light streaming in! These have impacted us all and I know I am feeling it!
We have also had to deal with a lot of anxiety as people all over the world have been feeling very anxious and that has heightened our sensitivity, which has added another layer on top!
I have listed some of the effects we may be feeling or have felt recently, so you know that you are not alone and also why it is important to REST, RE-BALANCE & REJUVENATE this month!!
Some of these effects include:
- Exhausted and drained
- Have short-term memory problems
- Lack of Focus
- Heart palpitations
- Time Dilation or the feeling as if the day slips away very fast
- Power surges in the body followed by energy drops or abrupt crashes
- Overly Emotional
- Feeling nauseous or light-headed
- Light Sensitivity
- Bizarre Dreams or very vivid dreams
- Buzzing/Ringing in ears
- Throat and thyroid issues
- Visual Disturbances
- Have prolonged head pressure, sinus disturbances and headaches
I have been guided to help myself re-balance and rejuvenate by drinking fresh nettle tea (from my garden!) twice a day, taking an echinacea tincture, eating when I feel like it to nourish my body (rather than just having 3 meals a day) and having a 20 minute nap when I feel tired.
I suggest asking your body how it feels and then deciding if you need to add natural remedies to your diet. Resting when you feel tired, which I know can sometimes be hard if you are going to work, so I suggest trying to go to bed earlier if you can’t nap during the day. One of the best ways to integrate the energies is sleep, so get as much as you can in April! However, it is also good to balance this with being in nature, eating good food and taking some natural remedies if you feel your body needs them. Please consult a medical or herbal practitioner if you wish to take a new supplement or herbal remedy.
April is also a time for rejuvenation and it is a great month to either start a new project or reconnect with an old one that you perhaps hadn’t had time for! Don’t, obviously, go full on as you still need to rest!! However, it is a really beneficial energy to start bringing your dreams back to life and working on getting ready to make things happen. It is a great time to make plans and start putting things in place to begin following what you want to do with your life.
Use April’s energies to get back into the flow of YOUR life as May will bring new energies and more shifts, so take this month to get back into balance so you are ready for the next stage of 2018!!
Remember, 2018 is all about self-empowerment, so YOU need to put yourself first this month. If you don’t get the rest you need and re-balance your energies, then you will not be able to help others as much as you could have moving further into 2018. We still have a lot more intense energy to come, so we each need to focus on ourselves this month so we are strong and ready for what lies ahead.
